We built the tool we wished existed

Our story
Newsmill was born from a simple observation: content teams spend more time finding and reformatting news than actually creating value. We built the AI-powered pipeline that handles the repetitive work, so your team can focus on strategy and storytelling.
What started as an internal tool for a media company quickly proved its value. Today, Newsmill helps content teams in two ways: aggregate news from any source into publish-ready articles, or create original AI-researched content from scratch — both in minutes, not hours.
Our team combines expertise in NLP, distributed systems, and editorial workflows — engineers who ran a media operation and experienced the content curation pain firsthand. That operational background shapes every product decision we make.
Our principles
Augment, don’t replace
AI handles the mechanics — scraping, filtering, rewriting, formatting. Humans keep editorial judgment. That’s why every article goes through a review step before publishing.
Transparency by default
Every token is metered, every cost is visible. No opaque pricing, no hidden fees. The analytics dashboard shows exactly what each operation costs.
Reliability over magic
Our 4-level scraping cascade exists because no single approach works everywhere. We’d rather build robust systems that handle edge cases than ship impressive demos that break in production.
Ship daily
Public changelog, fast iteration. We treat the product as a living system — small, frequent improvements beat big, risky releases.
Our mission
To make high-quality content production accessible to every publisher, regardless of team size. We believe AI should augment human creativity, not replace it — handling the mechanical work of content aggregation while your team focuses on editorial judgment and audience connection.
